Bird Box - Rosellas

from $80.00

A traditional shaped nesting box for Pale Headed Rosellas. This sturdy box is made from 15mm-thick pine, with a hardwood hinged lid. It has 4 drainage holes in the base. The box is designed for Pale Headed Rosellas with a 90mm entry hole. It is also suitable for Crimson and Eastern Rosellas.

It can be supplied with various mounting options - holes one-third from the top at the back of the box to allow attachment to a tree with wire (attachment wire/rope not included); or two keyhole shaped holes to the rear (see example photo) that enables the box to be easily mounted via screws to a tree.

We can also attach the lid to give different mounting configurations. The first is to have the side wall of the box flush with the tree (as in the first 7 photos). The second is to have the rear hinged wall flush with the tree. Let us know what you prefer.

Dimensions: Approx 23cm deep x 26cm wide x 50cm tall. The dimensions may vary a little depending on what rescued timbers are available. This also means each box is not identical but will have a unique look.

This product can be supplied in raw wood, or finished on the exterior only with Organoil. For maximum life we recommend you apply exterior acrylic at regular intervals.

All Cubular wooden products are handmade from reclaimed wood that we mill and shape in our workshop.
